This letter style blog was if anything, very entertaining. The colloquial language used and the choice conversational tone emphasises the casual view point of the writer. A part from a few spelling errors, grammatical wrongs and the need for a final spell check, I personally found this blog to be very amusing and enjoyable, the mention of the Party and stock whip particularly so. I also feel like the mention and description of Miss Slattery’s personal transformation as ‘…like a glass veil had been shattered…’ was well worded, and successfully refers back to the symbolic use of glass within the original story.
